New Zealand's Giant Rugby Ball in Sydney

New Zealand's national rugby team, the All Blacks, visited the giant rugby ball in Circular Quay today to help promote New Zealand. Team captain Richie McCaw was also joined by Wallabies captain Rocky Elsom for a photo in front of the Giant Rugby Ball, offering the two competitors a chance to check each other out before this weekend's much anticipated Bledisloe Cup match. The Giant Rugby Ball is a unique structure that made its first appearance at the 2007 Rugby World Cup in Paris. It has since travelled to London and Tokyo and will be open to the public in Sydney next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal until September 12. It is held up with air, weighed down by water, and has room for over 200 people to view a 360-degree multimedia experience about New Zealand inside.
